Four peeling techniques may apply. They are:

* Mechanical Peeling: To perform this treatment of microdermabrasion and dermabrasion uses a machine similar to a drill with surgical steel heads that spin at high revolutions. Work on the stratum corneum and dermis and is recommended for skin to regain radiance and freshness. The duration of the session can be about two hours.

* Chemical peel: place a chemical abrasive on the skin to fall off and appear without marks or other skin lesions. Retinoic acids, phenol, trichloroacetic are some of the technique used for this peeling. The treatment lasts half an hour.

* Peeling CO2 laser: it is a fairly new and is recommended to smooth expression lines formed around lips and eyes and to remove stains and shallow scars. Technique is not recommended for people with oily skin. The session lasts forty minutes.

* Peeling laser ultrasonic: used ultrasound equipment to help remove impurities from the skin and stimulates collagen production.
