With the slogan “The skin, internal image,” kicked off the XXXIII National Congress of Dermatology and Venereology, which meets in Salamanca, Spain, a leading specialist until next Saturday.

Halloween face painting, health risk

face paintingA new report recently issued by Campaign for Safe Cosmetics, warning of the health hazardscause facial paint that could used especially by children and young people in celebrations like Halloween.

After evaluating ten products facial paint types widely available via the Internet at craft shops or Halloween, the researchers found that:

“The ten facial products containing lead paint, and 6 of 10 had known skin allergens such as nickel, cobalt or chromium, at levels above the recommendations of industry surveys,” said Stacy Malkan, cofounder of the campaign coauthor of the report and author of Not Just a Pretty Face, published in 2007, which talks about potentially dangerous ingredients in cosmetics.

Malkan said the new report that “unfortunately, we found lead in all of them” and according to experts agree the exposure to lead can cause behavioral and developmental problems.

The research found that it had problems with the label as some products claiming to be hypoallergenic, but they were not, while a product “announced in the package as hypoallergenic and nontoxic, and had some of the highest levels of nickel, cobalt and lead, “said Malkan. (more…)

It is the increased absorption of sunlight by making contact or drugs or chemicals, or sometimes by alterations in the metabolism of persons or in certain diseases. The injuries that occur are the same as sun exposure produces only more intense and appear less exposure time.

1. Fototoxia induced by drugs.

It is a cutaneous adverse reaction due to systemic or topical exposure of a drug and light. The chemicals may be responsible, in addition to drugs, cosmetics and industrial products. The reaction can occur in any individual, is required and dose-dependent, and essentially it is an exaggerated sunburn. Some masks using honey :

Honey and Lemon
One of the most used mask is honey with lemon. This is an excellent masks to clean the skin and balance the levels of natural oils in the skin (which makes it greasy). Honey and lemon is also used as a home remedy for throat infections.

Honey and Clay
Honey and clay make an excellent combination. Help for all skin types. It nourishes the skin and helps to clean it. The consistency depends on your taste usually must have more clay than honey to adhere to the skin without problem.

Honey and Oats
Exfoliating and cleaner. Mix 1 / 4 cup oatmeal and one teaspoon of honey. If you want you can also put 2 tablespoons plain yogurt or sugar. Apply on clean and moist. Leave 15 minutes on the skin.

Honey
Apply it on pimples to accelerate the healing process

Honey & Egg
For dry skin. A spoonful of honey and an egg to help moisturize dry skin and dehydrated.

Natural Remedies for Skin

There are many types but in this article we will mention only those that are simple yet very effective. To look at all the year round, smooth skin and free from any kind of roughness can use simple and quick natural remedies.

Then I detail some of the natural remedies for skin.

* In the case of the hands and feet, one of the natural remedies can be rubbed with two teaspoons of lemon juice and sugar.
* Another natural remedy for skin of the hands, is immersed in warm water to which you’ve put a tablespoon of wheat germ oil with five drops of lemon zest, then use the exfoliating cream to regenerate skin with lotion and will remain as “new”.
* If you have a great “rebel”, your natural remedy is clay. You can put some in the evening and next morning the grain will be disinfected and dried.
* Another natural remedy to remove warts from the skin, is applied at night a drop of essential oil of tea tree and a lemon essential oil directly on the wart and cover with a pad,. In the morning, pull the gauze and leave daytime outdoor area. Repeat this every night, three or four weeks the wart will disappear and will not leave.
* Also a carrot and yogurt mask is one of natural remedies for skin very effectively. Just liquefy a carrot with a little yogurt until it takes consistency of cream. Then put it on the parts you want to rejuvenate the skin, massaging it a bit and see good results soon if you apply it continuously.
